Turriff is a thriving town in Aberdeenshire with excellent shopping facilities and a perfect base for exploring the North East of Scotland. Amenities available within the town include - Golf(18 hole course), bowling, including an indoor stadium, tennis, fishing on the river Deveron, indoor swimming and a state of the arts sports centre which includes three courts, a gymnasium with qualified staff in attendance at all times. Turriff has an excellent pleasure park with a boating pond and a crazy golf course. It is situated ten miles from the Moray Firth Coast, with its sandy beaches and the secluded bays, with good bird watching around Troup Head and Loch of Strathbeg. A 45 minute drive takes you to the heart of Aberdeen. A 70 mile drive will bring you to the heart of the Cairngorms, which has some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland, not to mention the skiing in winter months.
